About

The Fourth Ave Motor Inn offer 25 large, self-contained studio rooms, each equipped with a ceiling fan and reverse cycle air-conditioner. The rooms are cool, quiet and clean; each one has been recently renovated and freshly painted.

Operating for more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, professional service is our guarantee. We're proud of our township, with its many historic sites and things to do and see, so we like to take that extra step towards making your stay a memorable one.

At the Fourth Ave Motor Inn we are dedicated to providing you with flexibility when it comes to check out times at no extra cost.

The best part is that the longer you stay the cheaper the deal. We specialise in longer-term rentals and reward you by providing a discount for seven-day rates. We are adept at catering for workers, with enough room in our riverside car park for work vehicles.

Well situated, our motor inn is close to the Mount Isa CBD and just a short walk to the biggest mining operation in Australia,
Mount Isa Mines, Civic Centre, Buffs Club, pubs and the shopping centre. Catch the famous Mount Isa Rodeo in August every year and enjoy live music by Australian talent, parties and events.

Our commitment to our visitors is proven in the amount of repeat business we attract and word-of-mouth referrals.

Home of the annual
Lake Moondarra Fishing Classic, Mount Isa itself offers a laid-back country lifestyle, combined with convenient town living and it's just a two-hour flight from Brisbane.

The motor inn is located behind the former site of the region's oldest house, the heritage-listed Tent House. Now resting at the Underground Hospital site, the Tent House is an example of the once commonly seen 1930s mining company home, complete with historic furnishings inside. It was originally built on Fourth Avenue and was moved in early 2013.

Part of the Accommodation Solutions Mount Isa Group that also owns the 138-room Leichhardt Accommodation.
